OneDrive
Impact : Broken links to files + shortcuts shared to and from your personal OneDrive
Please complete your April 4th To Do List before following directives for known issues. If you experience problems with your desktop apps, remember to use web applications on Office.com.
Your current OneDrive URL appears as : https://cdcgroupcom-my.sharepoint.com/personal/username_cdcgroup_com/_layouts/15/onedrive.aspx
Your New OneDrive URL will appear as : https://cdcgroupcom-my.sharepoint.com/personal/username_bii_co_uk/_layouts/15/onedrive.aspx
You may notice a double slash (//) on the new OneDrive URL, this is an expected behaviour.
1. Links for documents shared from OneDrive will stop working.
Any documents shared with an internal or external user from your OneDrive will stop working. This is due to the change in username from CDC to BII.
Also impacted are files shared in Teams 1-2-1 chats that reside in 'Microsoft Teams Chat Files' folder in your OneDrive documents. All files will need to be re-shared for it to work again.

Any OneDrive shortcut links saved on to your machine or browsers will stop working. This will need to be saved again.
Any document shared with you from an external user will also stop working. You will need to ask the external user to re-share the file.
The same applies for any shared links to files in your personal OneDrive.

2. OneDrive sync tool has stopped syncing.
The OneDrive sync tool is expected to stop working after the cutover change. You may see a red cross on the OneDrive sync client on the right corner of your machine, which indicates a sync issue.
Click on the OneDrive icon and you'll see the alert ‘ There is a sync issue in OneDrive’ error.
Click on the settings icon on the top right corner of the sync tool and select ‘Close OneDrive’.
Search for OneDrive on the start button and sign in with you@bii.co.uk and wait for OneDrive to fully sync.
Note: Do not use your OneDrive sync folders until all sync issues are resolved. You risk losing data and updates may not sync across.
During this period please use the OneDrive web version from the app launcher (waffle) on Office.com.
3. Files under the 'Recent' section in OneDrive web portal will not work.
OneDrive launched from the app launcher (waffle)
Recent files in OneDrive web portal
You may notice the below error while accessing a file from "Recent" files.
Files will point to old OneDrive URLs and will not automatically connect. Links will need to be re-shared or alternatively refer to the immediate workarounds provided here for a fix
IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM MICROSOFT

Status: Microsoft is aiming to fix this before April 4th.
