Android devices


Please complete your April 4th To Do List before following directives for known issues. If you experience problems with your desktop apps remember to use web applications on Office.com.


As part of the username change from cdcgroup.com to bii.co.uk you will notice some errors on Office applications when using mobile devices. We have put together a list of issues you may come across and how you can fix them.

Note: iOS is the only supported device by BII. If you're using Office applications on an Android device, we recommend you switch this over and start using your work phone instead.

Android

After the switch to BII, you'll receive a prompt to sign in to your Office applications. However in the case of Android devices, it may not forward you to the usual sign in window. We recommend you follow the below steps now.

  1. Open Company Portal app

  2. Sign in with your bii.co.uk username and old password (Note: you need to do this step, before signing into any other Office applications)

3. Once you have signed in to Company Portal go to Devices

4. You will see a red exclamation mark on the account that you are using the device.

5. Click on the account listed under device.

6. Click on 'Register the device with your organization'.

7. On the prompt to 'Register this device?' Click on 'Register device'

8. You will notice the alert change to ' This is the device you're currently using'

9. Click on the back button and you'll notice the red exclamation mark is gone.

11. Open your office application (Outlook/Teams/Yammer) and you will receive a sign in prompt. Note: You may need to sign in to each Office application individually.

12. Sign in with your 'bii.co.uk' username and password.

Your device is now registered to use.
