AVD - Azure Virtual Desktop

Cannot logon to AVD? Please complete the following steps for any devices (usually laptops) that you use to connect to AVD.

1. Open Remote Desktop by clicking Start -> Remote Desktop.

2. Click the ellipses for the connection then click refresh.

3. If that worked and you can now see the AVD Desktop icon - skip to step 4.

Otherwise, please repeat
step 2 but click unsubscribe instead of refresh.

Then click the
ellipses in the top right corner of the Remote Desktop app and click subscribe. You will be prompted to logon and can continue to step 4.

4. Right click the AVD desktop icon and click settings.

Click the slider to stop using default settings.

Adjust the number of screens you prefer AVD to display across.

5. Double click the AVD desktop icon and sign in using your usual password.

6. You should now have signed in successfully.
